Exciting progress of a modular home being delivered and installed in the community of Alpurrurulam. Local contractor Northern Transportables has been hard at work delivering and constructing a new 4 bedroom home, and should be completed by mid August 2022.
This home forms part of the Northern Territory Government's $1.1 billion Our Community. Our Future. Our Homes. remote housing Program, to improve housing in remote communities, with $550 million additional investment from the Australian Government.
The remote housing program will deliver 24 new homes under the HomeBuild program totalling 86 bedrooms and 10 existing homes will receive Room to Breathe Works.
