Three new homes for the community of Ntaria

The remote community of Ntaria has received 3 brand new, 3-bedroom homes as part of the Remote Housing Investment Package.

For Samuel and Daisy, their new home means more space for their young family to grow. With an evaporative air cooler, bigger bedrooms, more storage room and a concrete driveway, the family are looking forward to settling into their new home and commencing work on their garden.

Wayne and Bernice, along with their young granddaughter, say their new home is the first time they have had a place to call their own. The look forward to fitting out their own space with plans to purchase white goods, plant trees and establish a lawn.

Jennifer and her three children aged seven, 11 and 15 are excited to be relocating from the outstation to a more convenient location. Moving closer to the school, where Jennifer works and her children attend, will cut down on the commute time and save money on petrol.

The Our Community. Our Future. Our Homes. framework focuses on a range of housing solutions that put people first, not assets.
