In late April 2022, the Northern Territory Government awarded a contract to Bullant Building for the demolition of old homes and the construction of new homes in the Larapinta Valley Town Camp in Alice Springs.
Bullant is an experienced Alice Springs based building and maintenance contractor that has been servicing the Central Australian region for more than 30 years.
The package of works comprises of the demolition of 5 existing homes, the construction of 8 new homes and the upgrade of an existing unoccupied home to be used for transitional accommodation. Upgrade works on the first home for transitional accommodation have been completed, with tenants already moved in.
Once the program in Larapinta Valley has finished, the transitional accommodation home will be made available for allocation. The works are part of the Northern Territory Governments’ Our Community. Our Future. Our Homes. Program jointly funded with the Australian Government.
